Each shoot is different. Each family is different. I have never been struck by the difference in personalities within one family. Each of these children has their own special gifts and talents. This shoot took place in grandma's garden...how awesome is that? Thank you West children for showing me your personalities and enjoying life to its fullest at each stage.

- I have always enjoyed being behind the camera and documenting my own journey through life with photos. When my children were born, I felt a deeper sense of trying to capture feelings, emotions, and personality within my images. When taking my questionably behaved children to a portrait studio...their personalities did not come through. Photo day was stressful! I decided that there must be a better way. I love photography and being able to step into your life for a brief moment and capture the emotions and beauty that exists.
